Addressing Richmond’s Housing Issues

The shortage of affordable housing is one of the most urgent issues facing our city, and the economic impacts are particularly devastating to communities of color, seniors, and low-income residents.

As a member of City Council, I will work collaboratively with advocates and community organizations along with my colleagues and the administration to address Richmond’s housing crisis in the Second District and the city at large.

In addition to increasing the supply of affordable rental housing, I am committed to removing barriers to homeownership and preventing the displacement of communities who are struggling to stay in their homes.
